Project Manager/Coordinator

The Project Manager/Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following task: - Plan and coordinate activities of engineering, planning and production for the purpose of modifying aircraft from "soup to nuts" - Review project proposal/contract and drawings to determine time frame, budget and work instructions, and manpower requirements for accomplishing projects - Communicates and coordinates with various departments to ensure on-time support, completion and delivery of the project - Creates both individual project schedules and integrated master program schedules - Manages project critical path to ensure project finishes on-time and within budget - Provides visibility to the team regarding priorities for overall focus - Manages risks/unknowns - Negotiates with and manages vendor activities - Creates status reports and modifies schedules or plans, as required Qualifications/Requirements: Strong work ethic, trainable, coachable, flexible, visionary High level of stress tolerance and ability to work long hours Excellent communication skills Previous project management/coordination experience Ability to coordinate and lead teams Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook The Project Manager/Coordinator performs functions, or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121. Senior Stress Engineer/Manager

The Sr. Stress Analyst/Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Complete stress analysis reports for aircraft composite and sheet metal repairs and/or modifications - Utilize NASTRAN/PATRAN FEM software as well as classical hand calculations methods to support analysis - Interpret engineering drawings and work closely with other departments to resolve issues - Interface with Liaison Design Engineers and Shop Floor Mechanics - Direct, manage and guide the engineering team to successful completion of projects Qualifications/Requirements: BS or MS Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Prior and current experience must be aircraft related Experience and capabilities should include 8-10 years of classical aircraft hand stress analysis methods and NASTRAN (FEMAP) and/or PATRAN, Familiarity with resources such as structural Federal Aviation Regulations, MMPDS, Bruhn, Roark, etc., aircraft fasteners, materials, sheet metal assemblies, machined fittings, composites (fiberglass/carbon fiber), and honeycomb and solid laminate construction. The applicant must have good communication skills, be fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in MS Word and Excel for report writing and analysis preparation. Prior experience managing a team of engineers and/or aircraft modification related projects. The Sr. Stress Engineer performs functions, or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121. Design Engineer

The Design Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks: - Create engineering design, layouts and drawings for aircraft modifications and/or repairs - Complete designs using Catia design software - Hand sketch design configurations to articulate concepts - Interpret engineering drawings and work closely with other departments to resolve issues - Interface with stress analysts and shop floor mechanics - Act as liaison engineer when required - Work with designers/draftsman to complete engineering drawing packages Qualifications/Requirements - BS Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering - Minimum of 5 years (10,000 hours) experience using Catia VR5 design of aerospace/aircraft structural modifications or new design - Experience with typical aircraft metals (MMPDS), hardware (MS, NAS, AN, bolts, rivets, screws, nets, bushings, etc.), steels fiberglass, honeycomb panels, machined parts, formed sheet metal, welds and sealant - Applicants must have good communication skills, be fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in MS Word and Excel for report writing and analysis preparation - Good MS Windows, Office, PowerPoint, and general computer skills. Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks: - Read and follow blueprints to form aluminum sheet metal by hand using manual press brake and/or form blocks into high quality parts - Layout, drill, form and assemble aircraft sheet metal parts and sub-assemblies on both new and in-service aircraft - Ensure thorough familiarity with all tools, equipment and documentation including inspection aids used within the area of responsibility - Properly record the work performed with the appropriate documentation - Properly execute duties as assigned and on schedule Qualifications/Education: High School Degree plus a minimum of 3 years experience in aviation sheet metal fabrication Knowledge of aircraft hardware, materials and processes Ability to correctly read and follow blueprint layouts Ability to correctly use a variety of hand and manual tooling and shop equipment for fabrication assembly Must provide fabrication tools (45 and 90 degree drill motor, rivet gun and sets) The Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist performs functions, or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121. Ability to identify, remove, and install common aircraft fasteners. Basic print reading skills and layout skills. Recommended tools: drill motors, 45 and 90 degrees drill motor, rivet gun and sets, dye grinders, files, cleco pliers, countersink cages, gauges, calipers, drill blocks, punches and standard hand tools. The Aircraft Structural Mechanic performs functions, or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121.
