Title: Project Coordinator

Position Description:

  • Plans and coordinates activities of engineering, planning and production for the purpose of modifying aircraft "from beginning to end"
  • Reviews project proposal/contract and drawings to determine time-frame, budget, work instructions and man-power requirements to accomplish project
  • Communicates and coordinates with various departments to ensure on-time support, completion and delivery of the project
  • Creates both individual project schedules and integrated master program schedules
  • Manages project critical path to ensure project finishes on-time and within budget
  • Provides visibility to the team regarding priorities for overall focus
  • Manages risk/unknowns and modifies schedules or plans as required
  • Negotiates with and manages vendors
  • Provides project status reports to management team

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous scheduling/planning experience is required
  • AS9100 experience preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and lead teams
  • High level of stress tolerance and ability to work long hours
  • Ability to travel as required to support project requirements
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook
  • Project coordination/management experience to compensate for any of the above items

The Project Coordinator performs functions, or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121.
