IKHANA Aircraft Services attended the Perú Aero Expo from November 21-23, 2014 in Lima, Peru. The IKHANA team was able to meet with ranking officers of the Peruvian Navy (Marina de Guerra del Perú) and the Peruvian Air Force (Fuerza Aérea del Perú). The Expo was a great opportunity to showcase the work IKHANA does to modify the Twin Otter airplane, currently in operation by the Peru military. The picture above is of Marcos Carvalhal, IKHANA’s CFO, discussing IKHANA’s paratrooper seat modifications for the DHC-6 Twin Otter. The Peruvian Navy and Air force currently operate a number of de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otters.

The Perú Aero Expo brought in more than 100 national and international exhibitors to the show this year. The event showcased companies in the Aircraft industry for trade, tourism, services, and products.  The goals of the expo are to increase development of Peruvian Aviation.

IKHANA discussed with attendees the gross weight increase options for the Twin Otter  and was able to talk to about their re-life products including the Twin Otter X2™. The IKHANA Twin Otter X2™ aircraft is a completely remanufactured version of the legendary DHC-6 series Twin Otter. IKHANA’s Re-Life process delivers the Twin Otter X2™ as a “Zer0-Time” aircraft with New Life Limits of 66,000 hours or 132,000 cycles, whichever comes first, the same as factory new. The Twin Otter X2™ takes the DHC-6-300 Series aircraft and applies the following IKHANA RWMI DHC-6 Re-Life™ STC’s to the aircraft: RWMI DHC-6 Re-Life Fuselage™, RWMI DHC-6 Re-Life Wing Boxes™, RWMI DHC-6 Re-Life Flight Controls™, and RWMI DHC-6 Re-Life Nacelles™.

IKHANA attended the show in Peru with alliance partners Team JAS (www.teamjas.com) and Hopkinson and Associates (ww.hopkinsonassociates.com).
